- HORN, HEADLAMP FLASHERS, HAZARD FLASHERS, TURN SIGNALS – CHECK BRAKE SYSTEM – INSPECT – [Brake system connections and lines: Check for leaks, damage and correct positioning.] COOLANT LEVEL – INSPECT – [Check the coolant level and anti-freeze concentration for the drive circuit (underhood). Check the coolant level and anti-freeze concentration for the vehicle interior heating circuit (underhood; uses a different coolant fluid than for the drive coolant circuit). Range Extender: Check the coolant level and anti-freeze concentration (underfloor).] LIGHTS & CONTROLS – INSPECT – [Check lighting system, i.e.: headlights, foglights, parking, back-up, license plate, interior (including map reading lights), glove box, flashlight, illuminated makeup mirrors, luggage compartment/area lights.] POWER STEERING SYSTEM – INSPECT – [Check function.] REAR VIEW MIRRORS – INSPECT SEAT/SAFETY BELTS – INSPECT – [Check condition and function.] SRS AIRBAG UNITS – INSPECT – [Visually inspect units for torn covers, obvious damage or attachment of stickers.] STEERING SYSTEM – INSPECT – [Check for clearance, leaks, damage and wear.] TIRES – INSPECT – [Check tread depth, wear pattern, outer condition, inflation pressure. - Check brake fluid for moisture and contamination. Inspect all hydraulic line and hoses. Inspect calipers and wheel cylinders. Inspect master cylinder and cap. Flush entire brake system including master cylinder, calipers, wheel cylinders until clean.
